here it is a new skizofrenik release called what else ep! after a long time, skizofrenik release this new various artists with for great quality tracks. on a side there are two really hard banging tracks from greg notill. this side will hit hard in dancefloors as usual for this great producer. on b side there is one track from fl-x vs. pat sanders with a hard voice, and other track from necro dur & mario batlles which have a really powerfull hardtechno bass. combining these four tracks we have a really complete reference for hardtechno scene.
san soda only needed one very limited ep and one >full< release to get attention from all over the place. deep house music that is both rooted in the past and firmly aimed towards the future. for this fourth release on we play house recordings san gives us three more killer tracks from his vaults. the a-side brings us >doorsnee<, a track that already had people requesting a release when it was but in its infant days on his myspace. describing it is quite the task, because it kinda leaves the 4/4 path and still stays on it, it kinda floats but it still gets you screaming on the dance floor.
christian fischer and dj murphy aka deckmonsters, have been causing major damage on dancefloors worldwide, and they prove once again that they are also a strong team in studio. >unbreakable< is as hard as deep, building up with dark athmospheres and background vocals and with a sweet synth line, will definetely rock any house. it also gets proper remix work by label s own a.paul. on the b-side, a.paul strikes again with another 2 monster tracks, first with a remix of one of his classics >akhuaba< and also >convey< a master piece of hardgroovin funk.
giorgio gigli s bassline driven & subtle atmospheric techno trip. next episode of the prologue journey. be invited to a deep and dark one right from one of the best italian producers. tip. giorgioÆs reputation for deep, hypnotic sounds has seen him on labels like wagon repair, dumb unit and mental groove. now he is delivering again a hypnotic tripping ep on prologue. support from laurent garnier, cassy, pete tong, ryan elliott, oliver ho, angel molina, samuli kemppi, cio d or, donnato dozzy, and all dark techno individuals !
belgiums number one techno dj marco bailey is turning 50! well no, not really, his label is! mb elektronics is now at its mythical 50th release, a good reason for a fierce party! joining in are pig & dan (cocoon), nic fanciulli (saved), filterheadz (intec) and davy dee & danny rodriguez (mb elektronics). congrats marco!!! this packages comes on a nice golden vinyl! tiefschwarz: pig&dan mix is cool!
if there s one lesson we have learned from 2008, it s that techno is not nearly creepy enough. on creep ep, germany s kevin over injects pitch-black dread into the heart of his distinct brand of techno. steamrolling bass-lines, droplets of toxic rain, and ghostly sirens all coalesce into swinging, propulsive grooves that stretch into a never-ending night. mr. over demonstrates his knack for creating arrangements that are both melodious and spacious, crafting an almost seven minutes ride through some of the most banging and infectious techno tracks to date, not to mention some dubby business on surge that would leave lee perry envious. at its most compelling, creep ep paints a picture of a raging warehouse party at the edge of your wildest dreams. including killer remixes by pascal vert and john lagora
neville was resident dj at the legendary checkpoint charlie for many years, is one of the midnight steppers and has recently released some amazing house music with new producer kink to great acclaim. this is him all on his own. its a slab of bad-boy chicago house. a 707 drum machine, a bouncing bassline, pitched down vocals and a serious case of the jack. what more do you need? move quickly cos this one will fly out sharpish and be smashing dancefloors to bits all summer.
after the huge success and support of the first release on dub records, the second release is coming right before the festival season!!! and we know for sure you will here this one big time on the floors this summer. this ep is from marten fisher, producer for labels like 90watts and strom recordings, supported by many deejays and radio stations world wide. this ep contains tribalistik drumloops, uplifting breaks and deep basslines to make the crowd craaaaaaazy...label supported by mr. sam, armin van buuren, tiesto and ferry corsten...
royal bangs are from knoxville. that in itself is a statement: theres not much that comes from knoxville, tennessees third largest city, and even less that gets away. quentin tarantino made it out, but the last citys mayor was allegedly so desperate to escape he now works as the us ambassador in poland. cormac mccarthy moved there as a child, of course, but by the time he d written his second book he was long gone. only johnny knoxville advertises his geographical roots, and quite clearly hes a glutton for punishment. so while just one of royal bangs currently has a passport, that doesnt mean they dont know that royal bangs is their ticket out of town.
bombay disco is a three track vinyl release quite unusual for remote area though, which brings yet a housey feel. already played out by: loco dice, nick curly, 2000 and one and bart skils.remote area represents the current leading amsterdam underground scene, which is run by dutch pioneer 2000 and one. artists like lauhaus, boris werner, julien chaptal, david labeij and gimikk (daniel sanchez & e-contact) are part of this infamous scene.
big with: loco dice, 2000 and one, brothers vibe, lauhaus, rozzo, shinedoe, sebo k, thomas schumacher, motorcitysoul, xpress2, ray okpara, losoul, matt tolfrey, h.o.s.h., solomun, ripperton, lexx, osunlade, jimpster, chris carrier, manuel tur, langenberg,
created as the main vehicle for delivering paolo mojo productions, oosh was one of the labels of 2008. championed consistently by pete tong on radio 1, including an essential new tune and essential mix this year, paolo mojos production profile has risen spectacularly, gaining momentum on the back of nightlaw, brooksong, the dancer, sirena, interstellar and home having broken new ground on previous ep (deus ex machina / que loucura de som) with a fierce technoinspired sound that received support from felix the housecat, joey beltram, marco bailey and justin robertson, oosh moves on to a round dozen with two more peak-time tracks.
highly addictive grooves and elements of house, techno, jazz, downtempo and even breakbeat melt together and thus you can never expect a certain category of sound û but theres an important ingredient for all of his works: emotion! from early beginnings until the present the musical ideas from terry lee brown junior had great impact on what we now call >tech-house<. as a pioneer and central player of the tech-house scene he succeeded in getting and remaining one of the most requested producers and djs worldwide. especially in the u.s.a. and great britain he established himself as archetype for nearly every following production or name in this division.
for this 4th release, we bring you the best of the best & obviously the rarest 12 inches around! a side comes up with the great zig zag from dj chaka bud originally released in 1993 and for the first time available the legendary unreleased extended sax mix (more than 10min of pure house meets jazz madness), this track was done way before st germain & all the jazzy house thang, with today minimal producers like sis or others trying to get the win formula for an ibiza anthem by just sampling a sax, this is defintely the only one you really need to have. if you need a record to bang a party, this is the right one. a cornerstone for todays timeless djs, such as luciano or villalobos. on b1 & b2, we have the all time classic from phuture we are phuture & slam!, all about drums, acid & insane vocals from 1988!
after the inclusion of crushed by actress on the most recent prime numbers ep, we return with three tracks from one of our favourite contemporary producers. ghosts have a heaven is a heavily stripped down, minimally constructed piece built on a heavyweight kick drum whilst given movement and accentuated by filtered synth washes and sub bass which change subtly throughout the track. side 2 is taken by two tracks from the actress debut full length release on his own werk discs. hazyville is a twisted piece of electro funk expertly compressed and crackling with static energy. superb locking & popping lace the track sounding something like the avant gardism of subway theme from the wild style o.s.t pushed confidently into 2009. ext up redit 124 provides a deep clipped jackin groove with a glitchy feel. the beats are worked & moulded along with fizzing synths and jerky keys to produce a quality hybrid of sounds with its own idiosyncratic style firmly in place.
legendary disco don demis roussos comes back with a killer new album... and its a 1000% winner for sure, as the man raise to the chalenge in style. blues and soul tainted, with a voice to die for... heres the first extract in an amazing limited edition package 12inch in 2 parts. here is the first one including new york re edit unchallenged king danny krivits rework on the track.... taking it to a more live sounding, dancefloor friendly 60s soul... guaranteed track of this summer for sure around the world.... dont miss out.
calvins harris returns with his anthem >im not alone<. set for a uk top 5, this is an exclusive pre release including huge remixes from deadmau5, hervé and burns. this is your chance to get one of the summers biggest anthems first.
john graham gets back into quivver gear, with his miami 2009 offering.. is there anybody there. funky as hell tech house heaven, from one of the scenes favourite sons! on the remix is stable mate lank.
>not my cat< is a brooding fusion of bubbling acid, deep bass tones and low-down jacking rhythms that treads a line between early doors groover and late night mood setter. >demons among us< is exactly the sort of cinematic-style club production that will resonate with fans of charlies work. forging together multi-textured layers of precision crafted sonics, the overall vibe is one of minimized, robotic-funk that provides the foundations for a killer shimmering melody to do its joyous damage.
here comes the second part of afu artists remixing afu artists- and what a great package again this is my friends! kiko has taken popof s big track stereos and such, stirred, mixed and shaken it into this formidable floor killer named kiko s chicks in ze bunker remix! it pushes the level of power many segments up and leaves no questions! our man from paris electric rescue remixed our man from moscow andrey zots and his great track i am. this is techno at it s best and is pumping the hell out of everything ! one of the best work that electric rescue has done to date! and last but definitely not least butch s mega bomb mushroom man get s a mellow down treatment by andrey zots ! it s a very nice electrohouse track with a fascinating and bone shaking groove. we support and love vinyl :)

with >shame< we have the most requested album track on vinyl now together with two new mixes for lost highway . one is coming from noone else than gui boratto who did the flavourable tracks for indie rock djs and technoids alike and the other is coming from expander feat. marc houle
after recently releasing astonishing records on vakant & kalk pets, dewalta is hitting now even more dynamic and powerful the springtime floors. back on his motherlabel with great & unusual music and we dare to say that it is our favorite release of him so farà >saluki< starts straight with a crafty bass driven smooth rocket and build its self up alongside a guiding piano loop to reach very atmospheric frictions. soft choir singing here and there, various dub sounds brushing in the space, bringing all sound aficionados into a beautiful ride. dewaltas crispy rhythms are eventually fading out into melancholic and moving detroitish strings, to complete this unique piece of music. >shagya< on the flipside is a self-developing carnevalesque odyssey. its such a profound & delicious kickdrum, tightened with an extraordinary bass presence, its simply irresistible not to groove happily on that one. all is enriched with polyphonic balafon rhythms and hilarious african rooted chants - this is the energetic tool for those special intimate moments. a perfect track when lust and familiarity is present within the crowd and we consider time as officially end.
santiago salazar, ladies and gentlemen! member of underground resistance, producer of los hermanos, recording artist for planet e. a biography made in heaven. macro pulls the most incredible people these days and theres a method to the madness: >arcade< immediately shows why santiago is known to be one of detroits most forward thinking producers and djs. the chords! the hook! the synths! the drums! finally an anthem thats 0% retro and 100% euphoria. leaving the recent fashions behind, >arcade< spreads all the warmth and enthusiasm one could dream of this year. this is 2009! and if this wasnt enough: hot on the heels of >art of sorrow<, man of the moment stefan goldmann does his first remix for macro! his stunning version is a 15 minute monster. not just a jam, but a fully composed journey from deep reverberation to drum machine fueled peaks to a japanese flute and koto workout. depth on a new level. this is the difference this label makes - others do ambient, cosmic or krautrock. macro does the thrilling stuff.
although jaxson and keno both have successful solo projects and have previously worked together before, this collaboration is bound to be their most notable release yet. a fusion of house, funk, latin and techno, all meet at the crossroads of their studios for a 4 track ep of sundry beats and fresh flavors. clearly the a-side, >tout le temps< is comprised of a clever hook and a hazy latino vocal sample, which carries the initial groove right into an originally played synth section. a good example of a refreshing approach to adding effects and using sounds. >tarantella< as the title might suggest, one might expect a track that would scare the living day lights out of you, but it has more of a >creeping up from behind you< sort of vibe. a subtlety creeping groove subliminally enters your unconscious mind carrying a secret message. what is that message you ask? dance! the congas on, >red baron< sound so live you can almost here the players licking their fingers. congas might be the groove in the heart of this tune, but the melody of the slick synth stabs and rising strings are what ultimately breath energy and spunk into this roller. >karate kid< initially has a minimal feel, but once the hacked up guitar and vocals come in, you can put those dirty thoughts to rest. abundant with an overwhelming amount of unique and interesting sounds, secure this tunes ability to prick up the ears of finicky djs and clubbers alike. it is rare to find such a wide variation of sound design on your run of the mill ep, but kindisch has proved they are not an ordinary label. they are consistently releasing quality tunes and always providing pleasant surprises. some might say it is a clichÚ, but this ep really does have a bit of something that will drive one club or another nuts
eric prydz returns with undoutedly one of the biggest ever releases on his legendary pryda label. the a side - melo is recieving enormous plaudits from djs across the board. not surprising really, considering its enormous chords, pads and massively uplifting feel. this track is a trulystunning piece building pefectly from start to finish with its nagging bassline perfectly complimenting the melodies
dj meme is back solidifying his status as one of the most talented and sought after producers in the game. garnering incredible pre release demand among clubbers, movers, shakers and djs at the forefront of the house music scene, this exciting new interpretation of the rufus & chaka khan classic is a lush slice of summer replete with uplifting vocals, free flowing flutes, soulful strings and sexy latin percussion –, an infectious groove destined to become a fixture on soulful dancefloors worldwide and a classic in its own right.

shakedown does it thick tech-e groove with subtile vocals by william kuoam djoko. state is you old skool new skool stabber which id ridding along the dancefloor. early plays by 2000 and one, shinedoe, bart skils, kabale und liebe..
stricly limited pressing. 300 cool transparant blue vinyl! big with laurent garnier and ame. spring is defenitely in the air !..)the limited series reaches its fith installment with æthinking about you. and darko esser is going very deep on this one. the title track was originally due for release on the poussez music imprint from dj yellow, before the label got discontinued. the track is dedicated to the important women in darkos life and was originally picked up by laurent garnier and ame amongst others. now finally it gets released on sparkling blue transparant vinyl! the vocal hook and bassline grab instant attention building gradually up and down throughout the track accompanied by a constant unresistable groove. ænostalgie on the flip follows the same musical guidelines, but with classically arranged strings and vibraphone melodies on top of the ongoing rhythmic excersize. the atmosphere is optimistic, spring is in the air!
after their well received debut album on internasjonal, windsurfs here to remind you about their brilliance. one of the standout tracks off their album, bird of paradise now gets a reworking from their scandinvian musical cousins studio who not only manages to bring it to the dancefloor, they even fit in a week long holiday to turkey as well....yamaz!!! to make the package complete, the beat broker(of broker dealer on ghostly)turns out a nice and deep house version of light as daylight. tasty indeed...
this time again bosconi likes to show you its eclectic taste in dance music delivering for its fourth release, a proper techno ep made by one of the most talented techno british duos: 100hz
giorgio s mixture of house, disco and techno sees its result in these 3 tracks which are fuelled with a lot of euphoria and don t hesitate to make brave/courageous changes when crossing over from one genre to the other
minus has released a first rate selection of home grown artist albums over the past 18 months, with heartthrob, false and gaiser all creating long players of real substance and this trend is set to continue in 2009 with arguably the label’s most significant release of recent times. louderbach’s long awaited second album autumn represents another jump in the evolutionary cycle of minimal techno, having developed from the largely instrumental project that gave us enemy love into a fully-fledged song based outfit. as a result, autumn has a much deeper feel than its predecessor and indeed breaks new ground, with the dark metaphors of gibby miller’s often chilling vocal performances fitting hand-in-glove with the ominous landscapes and broken architecture that troy pierce constructs so effectively. drawing on shared influences such as bauhaus, coil and joy division, the duo have conceived an album of emotional depth and exquisite detail, appropriating the best elements of these early-eighties pioneers and reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens to achieve a perfect balance of style and content. it’s the result of an unspoken understanding that spans thousands of miles from their respective homes in l.a. and berlin and this distant intimacy is a naturally occurring theme throughout the album, manifesting itself as dark, twilight tales of melancholy romance, burning obsession and the slow, disintegration of desire
he making of this record inadvertently began in cuba in january 2008. powershovelaudio was recording in la havana some of the best contemporary cuban singers and musicians. the resulting recordings were of an inspiring beauty. the situation was that powershovelaudio had this outstanding collection of voices, woods and brass, all infused by the tropical warmth. it was first-class material that should be put in the best hands possible, then maayan came to mind. ônight longö is a synthetic work. maayan has inexplicably, quickly and with incredible precision captured the essence and the expressivity of the cuban musicians and taken it to a hitherto unknown place. maayan is of course well-known for her diligent talent in inserting voices of quality in her mixes, but in this occasion the result is more than surprising. instead of concentrating in her signature minimal beats, maayan has experimented with different cadences, depths and moods, leaving behind her swirl a disconcerting record of inspired beauty. this art in this record is graced with photography by one of the best and most influential photographers in the world: moriyama daido. maayan asked moriyama san for permission to use the cover image, a request which moriyama san, after listening to the record, gladly accepted
after a recent guest performance on seuil’s eklo label, michael melchner - the young producer and dj from nuremberg - is back with another stunning ep for cargo edition. melchner is the resident-dj of the ‘kiss klub“ party series at nuremberg’s famous club ‘die rakete’, and music aficionados will have had their eye on this up-and-coming artist for a while now. this time around michael melchner dishes up three top-notch house tracks for us. “you understand“ is techhouse at its best, where he deftly holds and rides that balance between deepness and the dancefloor. a continously forward-pushing bassline is combined with a mysterious vocal sample and restrained breaks. „wooob“ grabs you with its devastatingly simple rhythm, while the bassline cuts through with a high dose of funk. topping the track off we have a vocal loop that shows off michael’s affection to the musical beginnings of house. this ties in nicely with the ep closer »just a skip« which reminisces over the sound of chicago. profound melodies, skillfully arranged vocal samples and a whole heap of soul suggest that michael melchner may just have produced a modern house classic. so again, just like on his first ep for cargo edition in may last year, michael melchner has managed to paint a musical portrait combining the present and the past into one classic moment.
daniel steinberg continues to have great sucess on labels such as microfon, grandpetrol and stylerockets and is also the main representative for front room recordings. with his last e.p, featuring >keep on movin< and >dont you know?<, enjoying such widespread sucess we thought we should call upon the remix skills of roman flügel and siopis for this release. roman has been artistically active sine the 1990s with his own labels playhouse, ongaku musik and klang elektronik contributing some of the best house around throughout the years. his remixes for the likes of pet shop boys, human league, primal scream and kylie minogue have garnered him a worldwide recognition and now he delivers in true style to front room. siopis, fresh from his get physical release >penny from the lane<, has also recently remixed mr. static which has further pushed his name into the international dance music vocabulary. his work can also be spotted on some of the most prominent labels like get physical, bpitch control and crosstown rebels to name a few. three quality remixes making one brilliant e.p that maintains front room at the top of its game.
henry l is the new moniker of cologne based producer/dj thats already known to the drum & bass world as henree (with releases on established labels like soul:r, cia deepkut and soundtrax just to name a few). even though hes still busy in that genre (unless others) it was about time to contribute something to a genre he always felt and took inspiration from. the other day at the basement reminds on an early mood ii swing vibe, pitched down to the right tempo. marcus worgull stripped down >the other day at the basement< a little, focussed on dubby stabs and added some wonderful harmonies to this hypnotic tune. when the soulful piano comes in, theres no question that this marcus worgull dub is one of his best remixworks to date. >wake up< is a sexy 109 bpm monster and as funky as house should be. if you need one word to describe this dope jewel it might be bouncing!<. just awesome dope shit, soulful, slow and moving
rize radical returns with the 2nd part of alton millers inner8 remix package (first part was on the clone x serie and sold out in the first week!). here the original version and the remixes of literon and steve azzara. inner8s original version is a generous offering with troubled synths, stunning keys and appeasing strings. steve azzaras re-rub of alton millers >inner8< is a sublimely deep offering that solders together spiritually aware detroit beats with emotion-gripped melodies and strings. this truly is a bouncy, joyful track that fuses electronica and sounds together with the help of bright house stabs and deep bassline. literons take on inner8 comes with razor sharp claps, one intense house stab, and deep dub bass. traditional house meets modern club tracks (think radioslave). a intens 10 minute work out with an arresting groove! super strong remix package
this is a 12inch for the deep heads! smote and gabanna out of slovakia delivers a rolling number with a epic feel to it! smote might be a new name on the scene but he is certanily set to make an impact. with signings to labels like vibez, good looking and now his debut on midnight sun, he is definitley one to keep your eyes and ears peeled on. on slowly down he teams up with long time key player of the slovakian drum&bass scene to create a tune that fits midnight sun recordings perfectly. smooth synths alongside a vocal hook accompanied with crisp beats makes this one a winner! dj support include ltj bukem, nookie, subject 13, physics and laos. on the flipside label boss physics, known for his varied styles and vibes, teams up with london based k.e.z.a for a funky techy roller called insomnia. minimal vibes lead you into a big drop with a heavy sub bass and dark sounds. this tune has been on rotation for awhile on dubplate making it a favorite among men with taste including tc&stress level, s.p.y , soul intent and randall.
1986, chicago. jody fingers finch is 18, not yet able to gain access to all of the spaces in which his first production will soon get airplay. he saves up the cash himself and records it in the basement of staple singers member bob murphy, who prefers the moniker bm recording studio. one 8-track reel-to-reel machine, one afternoon, $200 cash. a handful of cuts are recorded, including a stripped-raw, bare-bones track jody calls jack your big booty, an undercover piéce de résistance about his friends mothers backside. another is dubbed whistle worm, a meandering, experimental ride, riddled with strange noises and staccato high hats. bob murphy is likely confused. the tracks are brutally raw, lo-fi at best
